Rt click on the object (or in the stack) and select 'convert to'.....

yea i clicked it and all i could do is convert to editable mesh or poly but then when i do it dissapears, there not just 2d lines i think because i extruded them or turn them 3d i guess. So any more suggestions.btw any critiques are helpful too, first time making a car.

Try adding an edit poly modifier to your stack... if your object stays there, then collapse the stack and you should and editable poly mesh.

hey man thanks for the advice but it didnt work ,so i went out and made a whole new one in a different method ,you gotta love boolean. Iam about done on the dash just forgot that i left the ignition part out , anyways i need major critque .Everyone opion will be appecaited ,anyone knows how can i make some good seats i made them out of chamfuer boxes but it looks ugly anyways. i heard you can make your own textures can someone school me how.and any lighting ideas would be nice 2. hmm what else how can i make the renderer show the cage of the object?thanks guys so far..Photobuckethttp://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f335/gothicrockerluver/jeep-1.jpghttp://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f335/gothicrockerluver/jeep3.jpg

You can only get so far cobbling together primitives and it never looks too good.
Do some of the Max tutorials on modelling or look for poly modelling tuts on the net.
I would start on something simpler than a car too... sorry, I know you have put time into this, but the approach is wrong and you will probably frustrate yourself staying on this track and not get a good result.
