Helicopter Simulation
show user profile  Coxy
Been working on an animation for a client trying to sell helicopter training programs/machines. He wanted it done in a week, which was unrealistic (Considering he wanted it modelled also in this time), so I managed to get out a few still renders. It is an on going process.

I have it animated for the lights to dim and then the simulation to start.

The cockpit floor is animated to move slightly to represent the motion of the helicopter.

All of the dummies control the guns/move them etc. A lot of the stuff I was given came straight from Sketchup, so I had to remodel a lot of stuff, which took up time and the animating took up a chunk of time also, which meant I only had the weekend to get these shots done. There was no way I would ever get a finished animation, but he seemed happy enough with the stills for the moment.

That's pretty cool.

*imagines next level gaming in which the walls of the room are just screens*

Are you still working on it?

Yeah, I am hopefully going to get an animation done at some point. I have another project for March, so I might go back to it afterwards. :)
