Thanks, I am modelling my self a weapin set and vehicle set as I mod Halo Custom Edition, I plan on making a map, and I only want my own custom content in it and no Halo 1 stuff lol.

i forsee a couple of headaches for your texturing- if i'm seeing it right that is
the barrels- the shaft is unwrapped on both with half a circle hanging off and the other half scaled up in another part of the uv space, this will cause two differenct texture resolutions- as in one half of the front of the barrel will look fine while the other half will look blurry or pixilated- not to mention how hard it'll be to match up anything that crosses the seam
that's if you don't use bodypaint or even zbrush to texture it- something that doesn't mind painting across seams
in your checker render the lower barrel doesn't look mapped- look like it's in the uv layout render though but i could be wrong- unfortunate checker placement or something- it jjust looks like it has no checkeer on it
other than that not too shabby
