My green/blue/red object select icon changed
show user profile  Lunket

Somehow the icon when I select items in 3ds max changed for me, you know how normally you can see the 3 different coloured axis with arrows/triangles at the end of each axis (and clicking the arrow or the axis itself will allow you to move the object/objects you are working with on that axis).

I did something, and now all I see are 3 gray lines, one for each axis, and no small trangles/arrows at the end of them. When I try clicking the lines in order to move the object on a certain axis it does allow me to click the individual lines it seems, I try to click them but the object moves on more than one axis at the same time, or alternatively another item gets selected instead of the object im trying to select.

Not sure how to change it back to default setting, and not really sure how I managed to change it in the first place.

Hopefully someone understands my problem, I'll try to give more info if needed, thanks.

That doesnt seem to work, nothing happens when I have an item selected and then pressing X (even if I press X with nothing selected and then select and object, still the same problem.

Had to press the R-button first once or twice and then X when the R button was on the correct setting it seems, but yeah, the X button was part of the solution thanks :)
