Glass Shader Question (MR)
show user profile  Vaiestro

Hi all,

Just wondering... how can you get a glass material in Mental Ray to have that "real life" highly reflective quality that real glass has (i.e. cityscape reflections on a building glass window)?

I have tried all kinds of combinations and techniques including (HDRI env maps in all experiments) and while inverted fresnel maps slightly helped, the reflections are still faint... :/

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated :)

Cheers!

Matts
