Getting a new notebook - wait for Centrino 2?
show user profile  MrBurns
I'm getting myself a new notebook and am wondering if I should go for a current system or wait for Centrino 2. Right now the mobile Penryns don't seem to be THAT much better/faster than the old 65nm CPUs, but the Centrino 2 ones might be faster yet.
However, as we all know, completely new hardware doesn't always work 100% perfectly. So, should I go for a system that's available NOW (with the fastest CPU available) and runs smoothly or should I wait for a brand new Centrino 2 one? Are there maybe any previews that Google didn't tell me about?

Thanks for your input :)
