Frog on a car
show user profile  Thomas11juni
Hey all,

I've just finished my fancy frog on a car. It was just some, playing around, with HDRI. What do you think of this render?

Thomas.

Nasty!

I know it's not like your perfect renders :) I just like to play around with 3ds max. It's not that I'm a professional, I'm only 17. And I would love to learn how to imporve my 3dsmaxing skills.

Thomas.

You won't get much crits because there's not much to see.
Look at your pic as if posted by someone else. What do you see?
Apart from the background that everybody recognizes, I've no idea.

Haha, yeah it's a free HDRI. You're right, next time I'll put some more objects in the render :) Maybe I'll try to make the picture of that frog you posted :P, but I don't think it's going to look like it.

Thomas.

Well, if you've modeled a car (or a frog), show us a car (or a frog)!

There is a stripe of wireframed render covering the main motive of the picture.
Basically, its the presentation of the render that makes people not see what the hell they are looking at. Its easier for YOU to see it because you already know what the thing looks like in the first place.
The rest of us can't quite piece it together.
How about a render without the wireframe and one with full wireframe?
And how about a couple of renders from different camera angels so people see what it is?
If you want feedback on your models/renders you'll benefit from people being able to see what you've done.

this must be the greatest work of art i've ever seen. I love the way you play with colors to bring out the inner humanity in the frog, so fragile yet bold! And the expression, brilliant! Its like he's about to say something but never will because we all know that with omniscience comes disappointment in cars and it doesn't want to hurt our feelings. Gentlemen, i think we have a true artist in our midst, bravo!
