Looks like there is plenty of detail there, too bd so much of it is hidden in the darkness. Maybe try a red-ish sunset?

Erm, its night, badgers also need sleep!

Maybe the moon egg scared them all away?

Really like this. I agree with Spoon however and would like to see a sunset one, to see all of the details in your landscape. Seems a shame to have them hiden in the dark.

cheers for the comments

little update:

larger version:

next scene i do will be with a sunset but really want this to be a moonlit scene

I’ve added more ambient light so you can see stuff a little in the shadows

sorted out the moon it was the whole render that was wrong, got my pixel aspect messed up

anymore crits welcome but gonna put it in my gallery :-)

cheers again

really nice work. I would like to know what you used for the ground and the plants.

And BTW... that's a wild fronat, not a badger or a groundhog.

Think ive sorted the moon now ?

larger version:

terrain is a plane that i displaced modeled etc, normal maps, vertex paint, procedural mats. etc

plants etc are just pflow shape facing (x3 for each plant 1 for plant 1 for highlight 1 for shadow) with some other pflow jigery pockery....

thanks again
