This is my first photography post, and looking for some constructive criticism. It's of the Angel of the North near Newcastle upon Tyne, taken on quite a frosty morning. Have attached the original image and a sepia version. Any comments welcome.

yeah i thought it looked cgi... if you posted it as a cgi we'd all be critting it saying how you can make it more realistic. ha

Not sure whether to be pleased it looks CGI or not!!? Can you experts recommend any filters or tweaks in photoshop to try and improve it somehow?

it looks cg because it's one of the few instances where you'll see a large object with a uniform material to it without any varying surroundings.

ie when you put a brown figure in a sky dome; this is exactly what you get. fake but real.

hay Boltteon , that shot nice as it is,it seems a bit boring to me , if I remember right that thing is way big , how about getting some other angles that show off the size of it ? try a few from the base looking up maybe :)
