Filling a vase with marbles
show user profile  Westcoast13
I think the title is a good starting point to explain where i am stuck! I remembered from Maxforums Tournament 4 Round 3 - Owtdor's entry with the gumball machine for the kind of effect that i am after. So i need to use reactor, right? I've spent some time experimenting and i can't make it work for me. I have a vase (not a primitive sphere) that i want to half fill with marbles.

Anyone got a good tutorial/some sound advice for me?

just make a RBC add all the objects (vase and balls) give the balls some mass, make the vase unyielding and concaved and then simulate. tip: give a ball a mass before instancing it.
this is from memory so may not be totally acurate :)
