Fillet Radius quality
show user profile  vladdddd
Hi,

i had a post around here somewhere.. cant find it anymore, about making sharp edges more blunt and realistic.

anyway the solution was fillet radius in mr`s promat/special effects. eventhough it has proven itself as being quite a helpfull tool, thing is, its not that precise.. from a closer view it looks kinda bad, people who used it should know what i am talking about. so is there any way to improve it? i couldnt rly find a fill in field with number of steps, iterations or anything like this for that matter.

thanks for reading :)

if you want to view the model closer then model it properly in the first place, the smooth edges setting is just a rendering hack and isn't suitable for large radii or close up renders.
