| I can't figure out how to modify the loft command |

Hi Guys,
I'm trying to model some skirting round a room. I have selected the edges round the room and created a shape to give me the loft path, and then drawn a shape for the profile, but nomatter what I do the flippin' profile is back to front!! Ie the profiled shape would be put against the wall not facing into the room. I have looked through this site and found a twist deformaion control but I haven't got the faintest idea how the hell to control it.
Can anyone help please?
Cheers,
Stewart

Lofting can go suck something...use the sweep modifier for stuff like that.

there is a spot where you can use your own shape in the Sweep Modifier parameters, too. With the Loft command , you just have to create the shape in the correct viewport and then apply to path.

Select your path shape, go to spline sub-object level and hit Reverse. This should sort it out.

unless you're using an older version of max before sweep appeared I'd forget the loft command for things like skirting. Sweep is deffo the way to go. Much easier to use.
I use loft if I want to send a few different profiles along a spline

Cheers fellas,
Sweep took seconds - just what I needed.
Thanks again,
