fiat 500 tutorial
show user profile  npcph
I've decided to have a try at modeling a car. so i got stuck and decided to go through the fiat and porshe tutorials. in the fiat tutorial, they have me using the edit mesh modifier.

Anyone know if their is there any reason i couldn't use the edit poly modifier for this tutorial instead? the poly modifier has a lot more features. I don't want to just switch and then find out later in the tutorial that they had me using the edit mesh for a reason and all the work needs to be redone.

thanks
Phil

I just used edit-poly when I did that one.

Just use the edit poly modifier, then, if you find you need an edit mesh function just add an edit mesh modifier, use that function, then add an edit poly modifier again and carry on.
