Feature animation with an actual budget?!
show user profile  Loud
Hi Guys,

I know I only float by to post at my convenience but trust me, I still lurk with the best of 'em!

So... I'm in talks to do a locally released feature animation and it sounds like there may be an actual budget to work with if we can land the gig. All of that is still being determined but I want to hear from you guys if you:

A) Have the time
B) Have skills in Modelling / Texturing / Rigging / Animation / Render

It is going to be a character-based movie with singing / dancing so lots of movement. I'm a little vague at the moment but as details solidify I'll get more specific.

It sounds like we may be doing a pitch before we get fully funded so if you are currently available I'd love to hear from you. We will probably get a budget for the pitch as well. You can either post if you're interested or email me at tyrone.henrie [at] yahoo.

Oh and before I get flamed to death... I'm not a newcomer-spamster. I've been here since the early days! :)

Yes, I remember your username from here and there around the forums. Id love to find out more about the project, sounds like a lot of fun!

Its been ages since I've contributed to a large project, so funding or not, I'm interested.
I've a lot of experience as a modeller/Texturer, and competent, albeit rusty, with rigging and animation. I've worked with a professional film crew for the Visual effects and animation of a short film titled "A Fly on the Wall", but I know a project entirely based on CGI would have a much more fluid workflow.

Anyways, I'm rambling again. I'm keen, please email me with the details, jamie at pixellurgymedia dot com

He who says it cannot be done is interrupting the man doing it.
