Anyone fancy rendering an image for me pretty please?
show user profile  rob@dynamic
As the title says... if i send you files could anyone render this scene for me plse? My home machine sucks and I dont have the time at work to free my work machine up for rendering.

Its a personal peice of work not commercial.

Thanks

Sorry mate. I just checked here, and all the machines are busy for the next couple of weeks.

would be helpful if you posted some details; how many frames, resolution, time of frame on a spec'd machine... etc.

single frame.

4k res

18hrs on 990x, GTX 570 and 24gb on ram

Max 2010 with MR

Lighting, shadows, Diffuse filter and GI channels

Needs particularly high settings for the render to get the volumetric light looking half decent.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

Thanks

would go much lower res though maybe down to around 1500px to decrease the render times

What's the turn around time you need on it? I wouldn't mind testing some distributed rendering on my work account. It will have to be tonight though since I'm going to sleep now.
