Family Guy's recent 3D scenes

thought this was cool, I always like when 2D cartoons incorporate 3D...

I dont mind these full 3D sequences but I am becoming increasingly adverse to when they try to hide 3D in there regular animation, like when the car is driving down the street and the background in 3d in 'ink'n'paint' style .etc. It's happening more and more and is instantly recognisable as 3D. It feels to me like cheating like they cant be bothered to draw it any more.

I think that started with Futurama but they aren't discreet at all about it.

PS: Grotey, they're using warm lighting for the destruction scene just like your final scene, looks like you were on to something

Love futurama and it doesnt bother wme with that as it was there and very prominent from series one scene one, but its creeping it with family guy and I dont like it.

That Seth Macfalane is a sneeky git ;)
