falloff error with cel shading
I was able to create the two-tone falloff on the overall model but it was creating errors in the hair (making some of it transparent). So I created a multi-sub, assigning the hair to layers that didn't have any cel-shading. Now I'm unable to get the falloff to work at all.
Does anyone know of a good cel-shading tutorial so that I can follow it step by step? Also I would like to be able to use my diffused texture so that I can shade the lips - with my current technique (using sub-materials) that's not possible.

Probably putting the falloff in the self-illum slot rather than diffuse would be a start..

Just tried it, didn't work. Maybe I over-complicated the maps (map within a map within a map), will start over and maybe then it will work.
