| Missing exposure control types |

My exposure control box only displays 3 types of exposure control in max 2009 with MR.
I was following a tutorial that required Logarithmic Exposure control and its missing from the drop down box. Any ideas?

i think the plugin for logarithmic exposure is dltonerep.dlu, or it used to be at least.
check it's there in plugins or stdplugins, or try loading it from the plugin manager.

Cheers mate, its still only showing 3 exp controls. How weird! :/
I also copied the file from a machine where it does work with all the options, over wrote my one and its still the same when loaded.

only other thing i can suggest short of a reinstall is to delete or replace your 3dsmax.ini file.

Hi
I just had exactly the same problem.
To fix it do the following:
Open the “InstallSettings.ini” in the route of 3dsMAX dir.
(with notepad)
Change the following:
useUserProfiles=1
to
useUserProfiles=0
Note: If you have problems with the plugin.ini the change the following:
Installed build = 1
to
Installed build = 0
This will reset your configurations, but all the exposure options will return.
Saves you having to format :)

This also sorts out the same problem if it ever appears in Backburner.
