Exporting from Max vis command line
show user profile  jpedleham
I Want to make the jump to a newer version of max but i have people down the line who need deliverables in older versions. Can i run Max 2014 from command line and tell it to export to a certain proprietary filetype that we have an exporter for? I have seen this done for batching fbx files but never for custom plugins.
I want to then script this so that max 2016 saves a max 2016 file and then saves a 2014 file, silently runs max 2014 and exports a .vdi file.
Thanks
Jack
