Game engines can be picky when importing meshes with skeletons, some will ask you to link everything to a parent bone for example, etc.. Not sure about unity specifically but i'm sure somebody will be around to help..

It could be something related to IK and/or baking animation - are you using IK and if so have you baked all animation to the bones themselves ( ie bypassing ik ) when you export?

A little bit of gogling should find your answers, it usually does if it's a common thing..

did you adjust the scale of the model inside unity at all?

adjusting the models "scale factor" in the model tab after setting up your avatar can lead to this deformation.

My work-flow is import the model, immediatly change its scale factor, then set up the rig type (I typically use humanoid, and would do so in your case too). if that doesn't work, import that same fbx back into max or maya and see if you have any issues

I bought this character. I'm newbie at 3ds max. So I don't know 3ds max terms. But I solved this problem.
Firstly, unlink right arm bones and right leg bones (damaged bones)
Finaly, anew link right arm bones and right leg bones. Thats all. I could export and import animation successful.
Thank you for responses.
