Beautiful work! has a great atmosphere! :D

A few points though, it's a bit big to post (and if you did it at a lower res it would hide some imperfections)

The tower could do with some more variation in the textures
the grass looks kind of furry and needs more aa samples
the background sky images are a bit low res especially the second
and also your watermark and name look terrible, try something simpler for the font and a lot more subtle

I know all that may sound harsh but on the whole it is a bloody fantastic image, and I love it
keep up the good work

Very nice.......... pointlessly HUGE!!!
It sort of spoils the image having to scroll to see it.

Lovely image mate, and as others have said, its a bit big to see, and apart from that the forum limits for direct linking is 800x600, otherwise please post a thumbnail or text link cheers mate.

The dof on the birds look very wrong, they are about the right size to land on the railings at the top of the lighthouse, therefore should be as clear as the railings. Unless of course they are huuuge prehistoric dinosaur birds in the distance!

P.S. those birds didn't get very far!! =D

Personally i think the forum limits for direct linking should be upped to 1024 wide.
The days of 800x600 are long gone. Dont think that anyone still sits on any monitor lower than 1280x1024. And if someone still does, screw them. They're living in the past.

This was discussed in a thread about a year ago and the general consensus was to keep the current limits for forum layout reasons rather then scrolling or download limit problems. Can't find the thread but I made a poll and that was what was decided.

Sooo.... how about that edit button?
My screen is wider than the image, but I'd still like to see the whole image without having to scroll down (+ a link to high res)

second image window frames look too brassy and remind me of pictureframes
the bump map needs sharpening up around the top of the tower- having said that the geometry looks too sharp on the underside of the top walkway- like it needs a chamfer just to break up the angle which draws the eye
not sure about the frosted glass in the top beacon section- wouldn't it be as clear as it could be?
strange variation of style from bottom to top- painterly to realistic- i find that a bit odd to look at
the first image needs some peeling paint of the walls- not so much on the second as it looks like sandstone without paint but there are a couple of very noticable sharp horizontal lines going round the bottom of bricks in the texture which shouldn't be there
i like the tinsel in the bottom right of the image :)
