epoly->patch
show user profile  Mr_Stabby
im picking up an old project that could really benefit from patch modeling but unfortunately was done in epoly back then. The straight up quad menu convert to patch does make it into a patch object but it breaks all the nice quads into triangles making the endresult look fugly. I tried cutting out some of the quad splitting edges manually and the area did look alot nicer after that but the model has around 3k of these and would take forever so.. is there maybe a better way to convert a poly object into patch while retaining the quads as patches?
