I lent an Egg 360 adapter to StevegeK so he can experiment with 360° photography / video.

Unfortunately, there is no standard adapter to connect his camera to the Egg adapter, so a fudge is required. I suggested using a pringles tube and an assortment of other stuff to bolt the two together in a light-tight configuration for prototyping / experimentation.

The rest is an early consideration of application. I suggested 360° rugby videos & somehow that got associated with pr0n.

The objective is to consider optimal cost/performance 360° photography / video solutions.

Need a different lens for it. Might buy that lens in the next couple of days.. I now used a 50mm lens... should buy a 28. Funniest thing is that the EGG directly fits this lens LOL!!!!

But im working on it. :)

Cool !

I know this is just a test, but you need to frame it so the outer limit of the projected image just fits within the CCD. If you can upload an AVI somewhere, I'll test it with our real-time unwrap & can then post instructions for how you & others can do likewise.
