DXF to Max
show user profile  9krausec
Hello! I was wondering about importing DXF to 3ds max (or any Autocad file into max for that matter). How smooth does this work? I did a speedy test for a contact of mine and it turned out OK, but with a few mesh errors. The object was fairly simple, but I was wondering if many mesh errors are usually the case with more complex projects and if it even be worth fixing all of them as opposed to just modeling the object myself?

Any experience on this subject would be much help. Thanks!
