Hey Error, finally got my first jeep to go along side my two Suzuki samurais! It is an Indian Mahindra CJ3b clone, most of the engine is missing, and there is a fair bit of surface rust and cleaning up to do, but nothing I can't handle :D

I honestly can't fit comfortably behind the drivers seat, the thing is so small, so the missus has claimed it as her own lol

Let me know if you know where I can get a suspension lift for this from? I can't find anything online :S
Cheers

If it's not a jeep, I don't know if there would be any aftermarket jeep springs that would bolt right up with no modifications. You could measure the springs and compare them to aftermarket CJ3a/b springs. Worst case, you just cut off the spring mounts and (and possibly spring perches), and weld in new ones that fit the more common aftermarket springs.

You might try signing up on some CJ forums and start asking around. Someone's bound to know about those Mahindra's.

As for the leg room, yea these early jeeps are pretty small. I've moved my seat back quite a few inches, and it's nice and comfortable now, not cramped. That usually involves cutting the rear fender well.

Yea, I would definetly need to re shape the wheel arch if I wanted to move the seat back further. On the plus side though, I'm pretty sure all the mechanical stuff is pretty much identical to the jeep version. Will keep looking around :)

If the parts are indeed interchangeable, then you've got lots of bolt on options. And tons of other options that just require a bit of modification.
