Okay so here is my first scetch that i am showing you guys. Its still wip and i need some help.
I think that the clothing turned out pretty good but i am not liking the face.
Also I want to do the hair but i am not sure on how to. Since i was never good at making hair.

I am making the image kinda big so you can see the details let me know if you want it bigger.
(excuse the yellowness of the pics i had bad lighting)

Here is my Reference. 1,000,000 points to the person who identifies who this is.

Please be nice with the crits since i am not that good.

Dang it how did you know. I figured it would take like 100 views before someone got it right. How did you know.
I should have had you guess without the reference now that would have been a challenge.

Good start. You obviously got abilities so think of it as a distinct advantage. Now take a look at the reference and the sketch, see how the high contrast areas of dark and light balance out. You have went heavy on the shading at the neckline so alwaysbe wary to balance that out and keep it in proportion with the rest. Next, study form and in particular the basic geometric shapes that make the subject matter what it is - look up some traditional art techniques and understand how these seemingly random and complex shapes actually flow and converge into something real. Form is important, even in the most (seemingly) basic of comic art it has to be solid and believeable. Oh, and also, don`t be afraid to get stuck in with some sharp lines and wayward curves - that`s what heads u in the right direction both in understanding form and really feeling it on 2d space.
Just my 2cents lol.

Thanks for the Comments Dave. Do you have any ideas on how i could do the hair?
I don't want to do it cause i am afraid i will screw up the image.

Dude, i`d say leave that one and rally on with some serious sketching.. seriously, do a hundred interpretations of that face and really discover how you personally want to do the hair. Fifty strokes could do it or an outline, it`s your choice and it`s your style man - as long as its solid its cool but you got to work at it.
Cheers.

Then i will do another scetch this time focusing on the face alone. Since thats the weakest part. I got some tortillons from the store so that should make the blending easier. But i forgot the kneaded eraser.

Seriously, dont be careful with your work. Thats one of the best things my art teacher ever taught me. Do speed sketching too. Get a timer, set it to 2 or 5 mins and draw. Portraits, random objects, complete figures, anything you can see. If it looks crap dont try to fix it up just move on. Doing that for 30 mins a day can really really improve you. Keep it up! As for hair....i normally get a really dark pencil and draw it all in then get an eraser to get the highlights.

I think its a great start. I just think a little more care to the angles gould be made.

My teacher always said that many students tend to flaten the face as if it were looking directly at you head on, rather then put everything at the angles we really see.

Well i tried what you said. The advice was great help. But for some reason my drawing looked horrible so i decided that i might just turn it into something else. I am not posting it cause its crap and would be a waste of time. Bassically it looked like a girl that had a facial expression of someone going to kill you that instant.

EDIT: I think that next time i will not focus on faces cause that has always been my weakest point.

The only way to make your weakest point a strong one, is to do it over and over again, not avoid it. Your 3D seems to lean this way also click here. Don't run from it, headbutt it in the ovaries.
