Maybe napkins or cloths that go under each plate/silverwear? That might be more if the table is getting ready for dinner though. The rug looks a bit stiff i.m.h.o. Maybe varying the edges would help with this.
I really like the wood texture, looks smooth and cool like varnished wood feels like when you touch it. Although all the wood in each of the chairs follows the same pattern. It might be cool if each chair vaired.
Maybe stick a candel holder on the shorter cabinet.
Overall looks really good : )

Lighting needs a lot of work, and add a floor and wall. Everything so far looks really good though.

Personally, I feel the table doesn't look correct with the designer sort of legs. These designs actually are of coffee tables / center tables rather than dining. So always better to have those four supports
Why can't all the chairs have arm rests :)
Keep it up.

I like the first lighting example you did, the light feels more warm and welcoming. Although some people would probably use the new energy saving bulbs which create the white light seen in the later pics, I tend to think that white light looks a little harsh and office cubicle like.

i think the chairs look abit proportionally not right. It would be better if the chair legs could lengthen abit and the back sit higher abit. Two of the chairs have hand rest but the others don't?

OK i was thinking the warm lighting is better also however it made everything too yellow... i couldn't really find a good medium as for the end chairs i made two types for variety... IMO i thought that the people on the sides did not need an arm rest because their elbows would be bumping into each other where as the people at the ends would be the homeowners and should not and would not be bumping elbows with anyone hence the arm rest lol...
