Hello. I am looking at buying this desktop and was wondering if it can handle 3DS Max 2016. Below are the specs:

- ATX Gaming Case w/ blue LED fan
- 480W Logisys Power Supply
- AMD A4-7300 3.8GHz (4.0GHz Turbo)
- Various Brand AMD CPU Cooler
- MSI FM2-A55M-E33 Motherboard
- 16GB(2x8GB) DDR3 1600MHz Gaming Memory
- Major Brand 1000GB SATA Hard Drive
- Major Brand DVDROM Reader SATA Drive
- Radeon HD 8470D Video (w/ HDMI/VGA)

Thanks for any advice!

Things that I don't like:

"Gaming case" - what the heck does that mean?
"480W" - That is seriously underpowered.
"AMD" - Just no.
"Radeon" - Ugh.
"Hard drive" - A good way to slow your system down. Get an SSD, you will love it.

Your proposed system can handle Max 2016, but it's not what I'd go for.

"Blue LED Fan".... I'm too drunk to make a good joke of this.

What do you recommend for Power Supply? And here I thought 480W was more than I need.

Do you prefer Intel and if yes, which intel chip?

If Radeon is not good, what do you prefer?

Is this a good SSD from ebay:

I was told that gaming desktops can handle 3DS Max much better. So here I am looking at gaming desktops. I don't play video games at all. Just getting one for 3DS Max.

Thanks!

Don't build a gaming machine you can use for Max, build a workstation you can use for gaming.
