Depression -Year 1- Poll + Contest: Who Has the Most Debt!
show user profile  Phalse
Do not count mortgages or house loans.

You should count school loans + credit debt + other loans like auto.

The prize for winning this contest is undisclosed at the moment

TBA

I heard a rumor on the internets, a possible contest reward is a personal call from President Obama.

i'm got my mortgage, but other than that, i've always got couple hundred bucks outstanding on my credit card. never bothers me.

but, i also got savings set aside, so i guess they'll always cancel out my credit card debts.

Wow I expected a lot of people to have like a couple or a few grand debt on their credit, it seems mostly we are either not in debt at all or moderately/deep in debt.

Last year, I was 18k in debt. I've just managed to get that down to under a grand. It has meant cutting back on the fun things in life.

just took out another 21,100 loan for cost of living and the next 9 months tuition, totalling my debt for school to 168,000+

plus another $600 credit card debt.

plus I still owe 18,000 on my car.

do I win yet?

Wait do you go to a good school?

I could see that, plus omg the cost of living is insane when going to school because its so hard to hold a well paying full time job.

How are you guys not in debt? Computers, software, running businesses. Cars, family, ugh.
We're about $150k in credit card debt. Another $40k in car loans. And I'm sure a bunch more.
Been a tough few years since we stopped doing animation.

Congrats to you guys for being able to stay debt free. Scott Christian Sava

Why would you not count a mortgage or house loan? That's worse debt than most school loans...and no different, it's borrowed money.
