Cutting Extrusion Question
I'm working on a model of a car and I need to cut vents into the back window frame. I want them to be extrusions to look like indents rather than just holes, I couldn't get a boolean to leave the extrusion shape, it would just make holes. Is there an easy way to make these or do I need to actually cut the mesh edges to make the shapes then do an extrusion?
Here's the whole car (so far), feel free to give me any constructive critisim, I'm not a pro or anything just having fun with cg in high school.

you do realize your entire mesh sucks, yeh? its full of errors as far as I can see. you might want to post a wireframe and get your mesh sorted out first.
