creating md2 files

Hey, i want to create a md2 file cause i want to play around with a game engine. But i have no idea how to create md2 files with 3d Max 2008.

I found QTip but i can't really figure out how to work with it.
I made a box and rotated it around in 5 frames. I also applied that default grey material from the material editor. But when i press on "Export al frames" button from the QTip plugin then i get the error message "Cannot load all textures..."

I'm not really sure what i have to do in order to make it work, so i was hoping any of you have ever worked with this plugin before. So if any can help me out with this...

nvm about this, said something stupid here ^^, but still looking for a way to create the md2 file

Can't expect max to give you an export option for every proprietary game engine, can you? (it's what wikipedia told me about the file)

So google a md2 converter and find one that supports one of the files max is capable of exporting, or a max plugin

probably be more information in a quake forum- if that's the game you're modding that is
