Create polygon(s) between 2 borders
I'm new to 3ds Max and I'm not good at it (yet).
I want to create 1 or more polygons between the borders (in red on the picture).
But I don't want to have polygons in the middle.
How can I do this?

Use the Bridge tool. You may need to flip the normals of the inside section.

Attach one of the rings to the other in the edit poly tab. Then go to borders and select the borders that you want connected and hit cap. You might need to clean up some polys but it should work.

@BishBashRoss2: Could you be more clear? I'm really new to 3ds max.
@ubik19761: I've already tried that, but then you get to filled circles: one from outer border to the middle and one from inner border to the middle.
