Corporate Sponsor?
show user profile  GoodDiscount
I've had a lot of experience with 3D MAX. I am not an art major, but it is very powerful for me.

What I'm trying to figure out is how I can get a licensed copy (student,etc...) that can be used for any web pages or software applications I develop while still in college that ends up making any amount of money, whether from affiliate commissions, a software application that ends up getting downloaded 100,000 times, an image that gets traded 1,000,000 times and ends up on FOX or CNN, and who knows...

My level of understanding with 3DMAX would require me to have 1,000's of dollars to fully appreciate it. I have no idea what to do about this. I don't know how I'll ever get that kind of money.

What options are out there? I'm looking for Sponsors, anything...

You have to have a commercial license for that, I'm afraid.

Blender is free. Have a look at that.

Just to clarify. You want a freeish copy so you can make money on it without paying the money for it?

Gooddiscount. Who are you?

Your website has links to discounts for Autodesk products.

What's going on here?

You have to pay to use it for commercial purposes. You could email Autodesk and ask them to give you a free copy. Let us know how that goes...

What does that mean?

No, they will laugh at you if you ask for a free copy.

I thought about emailing my Autodesk affiliate manager about this actually, so I will try that.

Thank you..

I wish I had some better advice for you. It is a very expensive package. Too expensive in my opinion.
