how can i copy elements from a file 3ds max to another ?

how can i copy elements from a file 3ds max to another ?...i tried with copy / paste ( like it works in autocad, archicad, cinema 4D but not in 3ds max ), i tried drag and drop ..did not worked ...any idea pls ?

Try Import > merge

thank you, but i don*t need to import an object, only to copy one from a max file to onother....

Like he said. Use merge. Open one file, merge bits from the other file into it.

yes...but, by doing that i am bringing all my objects, not just one ( the one that i need )...am i wright?

select what you want to merge, save selected, then merge into the other scene.

You get to choose which objects you are merging into the new file. Try it.
