Greetings again from the baby crib of Max mania. What is the current view on the top websites for good 3ds Max tutorials, especially as related to mental ray lighting, shadows, etc., also for modeling, but everything in general.

I believe Gnomon Workshops are the best (from what I've heard).

I know someone will say DigitalTutors is good but I've only gone through a couple of their tutorials and didn't think much.

I always swear by CG Academy - though I haven't seen anything on MentalRay rendering. But they do have an intermediate and advanced modelling section. You can find their stuff for free on youtube. Here's a link:

Thanks herfst1, walked through a few of your suggestions & learned much, although still looking for more in-depth mentalray rendering techniques concentrating on building interiors. Anyone else?
