compressing videos

Hi All,

Ive rendered a video in after effects. I need to convert it into the following formats:

type='video/mp4; codecs="a v c 1.4 2 E 0 1 E, m p 4 a. 4 0. 2"' (NB: ive deliberately added spaces in between the characters as it may affect the sites CSS)
type='video/webm; codecs="vp8, vorbis"'
type='video/ogg; codecs="theora, vorbis"'

Im just wondering how do I convert them to these formats? Can I use Premiere? I cant find the MP4 codecs to download anywhere, and im just generally a bit noobish when it comes to this.

Any help would be amazing,

cheers, Rob

Thanks Nik, yes I didnt think of that.

It seems to have the relevant options there, however no "a v c 1.4 2 E 0 1 E", or " m p 4 a. 4 0. 2"

if that's what I think it is you only need two.

the mp4 - for safari/chrome/ie & webm (aka vp8) for firefox.

you don't need ogg theora unless you must support really old versions of ff.

there's a few mp4 codecs around. no idea which one you need to use be 100% browser compatible.

check the specs of each & look for mp4 a.4 0.2 compatibility I guess.
