Good Compositing Tutorials
show user profile  albongino
Hi guys,

I've been thinking on working with photography and adding 3D elements to it, from adding a remodeled building in the place of an existing one, to adding 3D text or any other 3D element on a given photo, I've got a few techniques on how to camera match but I'd like to get some good tips on matching lighting, etc.. so it can look more convincing when compd.

anyone can share a good tutorial on this? any help would be great..

thanks

would really appreciate that man, about to start a few personal projects that would require some intermediate to advanced skills on that technique..

otherwise just google some, or look on cgtalk, im sure there will be a few.

good general comping tutorials on vfxpedia.com for fusion and search for some aftereffects ones- think they were on the main site, theres like 70 or so on a page on one of the bigger sites with video tutorials, and tells you how to do loads of comping. when you know it for one program its easy to repeat it in a different one

thanks for the input, I've been googling some, but many of these are very basic or introductory, also to animation, and I always check here for some advice based on experience, my main interest now is matching the lighting of a photograph the best way possible, I'll keep on looking though and I'd post a link here if I find a good one, I'll definitely check the site you mentioned, cheers!
