clown face 2d
show user profile  firetiger

Today i got pushed to the far end of boredem.
It then struck me that clowns releive boredem.
Thus i drew myself a clown and releived myself of boredem for 1 hour and 15minutes
However its in a clowns nature to be imperfect, and this clown is no different.
Im really not happy with the way the nose, eyebrows and the mouth in general came out.
And i sinfully neglected detail on the clowns vital attire.
But without further clown!

C+C welcome as hell.

Cheers, Gajan

PS: in retrospect he doesnt really look like a clown anymore.

I like it a lot!
I wish I had drawing skills like that.

But when you said clown, it reminded me of a joke I just heard.

2 cannibals are eating a clown.

One of them turns to the other and says, "Does this taste funny to you?"

I think its really good for an hour and fifteen mins. Your right though he doesnt look like a clown, more like the guy from singing in the rain on a bad trip.

Or are u guys just jaggin' around with each other?

cause if he really did steal that picture, photoshop it, and claim it as his own....well....that's pretty bad!

I decided to post some of my recent work also...I came up with this fairly quickly. I call it 'The Acrobat'. I know she doesn't look like an acrobat, but I'll get around to that sooner or later.

well, after what my man steve said i began to wonder what was goin on with this picture...

it is obviously not a series of filters... so, i took them both into photoshop, overlayed them toghether like this:

and well, it was clear that this is one of those "attention wh*re tracing a photograph and calling it his own" case...

now there's nothing wrong with tracing a photo... but, posting it, and saying it's your own... without mentioning it'r origin... well, that's pretty bad for rep. me thinks...

aanyway... =)

The problem wasn't that you traced a photo, the problem was you never mentioned it, so you took credit not only for the drawing, but the motif and the rest. Tracing a photo isn't unusual, but it IS easier than starting from scratch, and I think it's fair to mention that in your opening post. (And also, that the motif isn't your idea either).
