How do I check the size of my model in 3ds max 6

How do I check the size of my model in 3ds max 6 and how do I check the thinest part of my model to make sure it meets the minimal thickness for printing? It gives me a number when I check properties but I have no idea what kind of measurement dimensions/scale 3ds max uses
