Chamfer Problem
show user profile  sheheryar_noor
Hi guys,

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The models are almost same but when i chamfer the Blue one it gives me such a weird result while applying same setting on another model gives me a fine result.

The blue one is weird and it is detached from something, another shape could be modeled like this easily but i wanna know what the real problem is.

Try moving single vertices or faces of the blue mesh to see if everything is connected to each other. Also check if maybe on the blue object some constraint is enabled in the Editable_Poly

never get low & slow & out of ideas

Compared both, what i am seeing is same for both, Constrains is None for both, both have 12 vertices, no free vertex so still confused what the problem could be?

Easiest thing would be if you upload the file so we can have a look

Could be anything from vertex normals on the detached mesh to surface normals. Not sure if there`s something similar to Reset XForm for verts etc..
