Camera Path Contraint / Keep from rotating at 90 degrees
show user profile  RedStar
I don't know if the title is good enough but I have a slight problem here. I am animating a camera to go around an object.

Its starting point is straight on. Afterwards the camera just rotates around the object not sideways but up/down. At about 90 degrees when it gets right on top of my object the camera flips 180 degrees. How do I keep this from happening? I want the camera to continue going around the object and facing the same way. (Yes my model will be upside down when it comes to the back view)

Any ideas? I tried look at constraints. no luck.

If your object is stationary then I don't think you need any constraints. Center the pivot on your object then align the camera pivot to the object. Now you should be able to rotate around.

No clue why I didn't think of that.
Thanks man, works great!
