What's Oli's SN name on MF? I'm friends with him on FB (also I can't remember how that happened for the life of me considering I've never spotted him on MF).

I've shot on the the gh4 and the a7s.

A7s is awesome in low light but you need an external for 4k.
blackmagic is ok, I like the raw format it gives you.

Oli is like nextlevelgfx...etc.

He is pretty knowledgable about video and is a big Sony proponent.
Killerbee also rolls Sony.
They both shoot Fs700

I had a GH4 and sent it back due to not liking it's low light performance and my personal thoughts were that its image was a bit 'harsh'....I really wanted to like it and worked endlessly with profiles and such.....

I ultimately went with a Canon C100 and a Ninja Blade to record higher quality Avid compression.
(The C100 uses a good AVCHD internally....)

For the most part I feel like the GH4 is the camera to get right now unless you really are critical.
It shoots native 96FPS,....it shoots 4K internally, It does timelapse....it is controllable and such via Android/Iphone apps.....For another $350 get a Speedbooster and that makes the Gh4 almost a S35 sensor.
Its a really, really nice cam for $1600US
