Buying a new monitor
show user profile  Sangre
One of my two monitors has a dark corner now:
Sometimes, turning it off and on again fixed the problem but not anymore, and I'm guessing it can't be fixed.

So what would be the best replacement? I'm looking for a simple IPS 1080p 24 inch display with simple stand, preferably with no bezels.

I'm thinking maybe this one

It's an LG 24MP77HM-P

Built in speakers or a web cam are not necessary. What monitors are you guys using?

Dell Ultrasharp U2412M

Very happy with it! Was a considerable image quality upgrade over my previous equally priced samsung.

I like Dell Ultrasharp monitors w/premier color.

Although If I was buying now I would do the Dell Usharps with 4K....

I have two Acer K242HLs. They're nice.

Edit: Each under £100, 1920x1080, 24" and very lightweight. Got a fancy desk mounted dual monitor arm support thing too.

We have cheap lg ips fhd panels at the office, they are not bad but i recently switched to dell ultrasharp fhd 23.8" and i notice they are a lot better. More color calibrating options, decent stand(height adjustable), usb hub built in and really small bezels. Also plenty of connections, hdmi dvi en displayport. I figure theyr only 30 euro's more expensive over the LG :)

Dell Ultrasharp is around 270$ in my region, which is about 60$ more then what the competitors offer. Also I probably don't need the extra features of it.
