Buying a 3d printer
show user profile  Alex910
Hello,

I'm looking to buy a 3d printer but I have no idea at all from where to choose and what to choose. I need to print some lot of stuf for my clients.

What can you recommed to me for lot of printing?
Also, how much time and energy it may consume? - some examples
And how expensive is to maintain it?

I need something that works fast and that won't consume a tone of energy... I'm going to make hallow models to save money.

budget 3k

Thank you!

First thing you want to determine is how large is the size you want to print.

There are several "MakerBot" printers under 3k, I don't really know a whole lot about 3d printing, but I've looked into it several times in the passed (waiting for one that can do metal!). I'm sure there are other brands out there worth looking into.
