I wish too, aparently my graphics card is dead, I cant seem to load up max or play games or any large vids. If I load those up, ill get a blue screen of death. I can open zbrush though since it doesnt depend on my grafix card eheh, ill have to buy a new one soon. On the other hand I kinda like it this way, its forcin me to use zbrush 100% lol

Look good mdb. I haven't been too active on this board since this summer, but your max face tutorial was so helpful to my modeling. Cheers.

Great stuff, Eugene.
As usual you nail the anatomy and the realism :)
Keep up!

Nice. Your models are always so... believable. Like that's a guy I might have seen down the street today.

Wicked sculpt mate. The only thing that's sticking out to me is the outside of the top eyelid goes past the corner of the eye far too much, like its overlapping way too much. Never seen eye lids that do it that much.

Hey Eugene, is your capture software still working without the graphics card?
It would be nice to see parts of your workflow every once in a while.
Just short clips, not video tuts (unless you feel like it).
With the usual gurgling noises and all :)

Nice MDB - good to see a thread from you!

One minor crit though... To me it looks as though the upper half of his nose is too 'squashed'. It hasn't been mentioned before so thought I'd bring it up.

But yeah apart from that, damn realistic! And I agree with garp - would love to see a short workflow vid of yours. Your face tutorial was great :o) - do a workflow video for MudBox 2011 :D

Hiya MDB!

Sketchbooks yay! I made one too. I promise to actually fill it with stuff this year.. teehee ;)

Few things stick out to me. If he is surprised he needs forehead wrinkles. If he isnt his eyebrows are way too high up the head for a male.

Also i feel the modiolus could be more announced. Right now it sits very much at the lower half of the mouth corner while in reality it also goes up around it to allow the zygomatic major to attach to it.

The nasolabial furrow looks like it could benefit from some more tweaking as well. It looks like a surface scratch instead of a fleshy furrow which is created by the fold of flesh coming from the nose. At the very least it should show some weight where it comes from the nose.

In general it seems the nose could benefit from being a little bit wider at around middle height where it attaches to the skull at the rim of the lower orbit.

Ciao

3dioot

PS
Before i forget. Nice sculpting of course! ^_^

That's brilliant :), and yeah image size is a bit too big, horizontally... I'm on a 20" lcd monitor at 1680x1050 - at default I can see 1 and 1/5 of the faces posted. But I'd rather scroll horizontally to see the others optionally, than scroll vertically to get past them to read new posts :)
