broadband speed test
We're trying to define a pretty good speed test of our internet line in work here, but the few free speed test sites on the web always give massively varying results.
this site gives most favourable results -
whilst this is somewhat considerably lower -
why is this and what should we believe?

i just did both and got similar results on the download speeds, the upload speeds were differing though
couldn't really tell you of a more accurate site cos i've not really wanted to know that badly so not looked into it soz
ere's one after googling 'most accurate broadband speed test' though:
though trying it i got 1/3 the speed the other two gave so who knows lol

It depends what intertubes the data flows through and how much other stuff is in them.

I normally use this one as you can test with hosts in different parts of teh world and it seem pretty accurate.

Speed at work...
Here in Wales our megabytes get delivered by the local bread man rather than wires.

Lol at Grotey! Man, I thought my connection was rubbish!
if you're both at work though, somebody could be using the internet at the same time effecting your speeds?
