Boxx Technology: RenderBOXX
show user profile  troyr
Can i have your thoughts about this?

I need to grow my render farm and RenderBOXX seems logical, but before i throw heaps of money at it, i would like to know what the industry thinks of them.

Is there better alternatives (Not overseas render houses)?
thank for your time

unless your expecting to be booked constantly with work; it's a better idea to rent out farms from a single source for a per project basis.

but that depends on alot of factors, boxx in general is a bit on the pricey side but they're solid.

Also with RenderBoxx you'll be paying extra for the density factor, same with blades. If space isn't a constraint then you can go with cheaper 1u/2u or even desktop tower case setups for a lot cheaper.
