Bones and pivots
How do you align your "actions" (select-and-rotate and select-and-move) to the pivot of your bone? In other words: the bone of my character's hand has a pivot that (when in the front viewport) points as in figure 1, but when I want to position that bone, the select and rotate function is set to the standard set of axis (figure 2) - the result is the hand deforms incorrectly.
How can I align the select-and-rotate axis to the pivot ?

Switch to 'local' coordinates.
