Bitmap material Tiling/mirroring bug?

Using Vray and 3ds Max 2012... I unchecked mirror and tiling in the bitmap on my vray material, but instead of just showing me one image of the bitmap material in the viewport, 3ds max continued to display multiple duplicates of the same image as tiled (although tiled is unchecked for both vert and horz parameters).

If I check mirror, then poof, no tiled, just mirrored.. Wtf? Anyone else experience this problem with 2012 yet? I have tried restarting, but no dice.. any suggestions?

So, I'm the only one that is having this issue? 3ds is up-to-date and all, this is very confusing and annoying since I am force to use VrayRT to place specific textures correctly.. in other words, bump... Here's a video of the problem in action-
