Bird rigging

Guys I'm no expert in rigging. Let me ask something very generic, just to make up my mind.
So, I need help to make a seagull rig that I can then export to Unity. Any tutorial, tips, or anything else?

Rigging aint that hard tbh, if you spend a day learning the basics ( bone setup and weighting ) you could have a basic functional animation rig quite easily..

I generally don't like to use auto-weighting or envelopes etc, and with Max have always just used a Skin modifier and the weight-table to apply weights to each bone and the relevant vertices. Start from the root bone, select all verts, 100% weight to that bone, then work down the hierarchy applying weights to each bone and relevant verts..

Yes I am definitely a bird. At least at rigging.
I will bake the animations, Chillywilson.
@ScotlandDave: never had a try at weightTables. I'll give it a go.

use cat if you can unity likes it if you need to change it.
If not just bake the animation into the FBX exporter.
